This is done with Prismacolor Artist Colored Pencils. Prismacolor
pencils are wonderful to work with.They lay down a thick layer of color .I layer colors from light to dark to build depth for a rich ,vibrant color. As you layer the color you create texture ,you can get many effects. Working with these pencils is a little like oil pastels but much easier to use as you have the control of a pencil and a much finer tip.

Art Show

My daughter and I had a good time at the Art Walk Art Show at downtown Fort Walton Beach today. We met some nice people . We had a nice location to set up ,a little courtyard next to a park. It was pretty hot though and humid so I don't think I will do an outside show again until October .Outside shows in Florida in August ,what was I thinking accepting this invitation ?! We packed up an hour early because the heat was getting to us.Here are a few pictures we took.
